Why do people think GTA 6 was cancelled?
Three things feed the rumour:
- The delays. GTA 6 slipped twice, and some people read a delay as a cancellation. The details are in GTA 6 delays.
- Fake announcements. Edited screenshots of tweets or Newswire posts circulate on social media.
- Clickbait videos. Titles such as “GTA 6 is cancelled?” draw views even when the video says it is not.
How to check a GTA 6 cancellation claim
Rockstar posts real news on its Newswire and its official X account, and Take-Two reports anything that changes its revenue to investors. If neither has said it, it has not happened. We track the official record in the latest GTA 6 news.
