When can you preload GTA 6?
- Who can preload: anyone with a digital pre-order on PS5 or Xbox Series X|S, and buyers of the boxed version, which is a download code with no disc and goes on sale November 12.
- When: from November 12, 2026, seven days before launch. Rockstar has not said at what hour it opens.
- What you get: the full game files, locked until launch.
- How: the download starts by itself if automatic downloads are on; otherwise start it from the game’s page in your library.
What time does GTA 6 unlock?
Rockstar has not announced an unlock time as of November 3, 2026. The usual pattern for digital console games is midnight local time on release day. If GTA 6 follows it, these are the start times:
